Well priced, bright room with the new shower which was extremely good, very comfortable bed, for example. Central location, nice place for discovering Folkestone. Loved nice area.
Beds were old.

Excellent location, grand style to the building, good parking.
The orange juice at breakfast was extremely weak and watery. Hoped that the mixed grill would have had some other vegetables than just one tomato

The staff, especially mirek and hannah, were super friendly and cute. Our room was beautiful and comfy, and i enjoyed the lovely breakfast. The hotel's location made it easy to explore nearby areas, and i appreciated the attentive bar service.

The traditional charm of this hotel mixed with beautiful decor. The bar area is fab for cocktails, and the location is perfect for a stroll along the seafront. I felt welcomed from the get-go.

The hotel itself is a wonderful large victorian building with a lovely bar area. It is in a great location very close to the Leas promenade and its panoramic view of the English channel.
My only grumble was that the bed was hard and a rather old looking blanket provided instead of a quilt so I didn't have a good night's sleep.

Stayed at Burlington for 5 nights;found staff very helpful.only 15 mins. Walk from town. Room very comfortable-but small ;unfortunally not a sea view-but no matter 2 minutes walk to see it! Didn't have breakfast thought it was rather 'pricey'; Very nice bar downstairs at average prices visited once- very quiet then suddenly besieged by a 'mature' group of individuals who were obviously enjoying themselves [very disciplined I might add] My wife and I were on 3rd floor but there were 2 lifts-unfortunately only 1 was in operation.Required bathmat which was supplied within minutes ;excellent shower and double- bed.
Parking rather 'tight' in hotel but usually numerous spaces on roadside surrounding .

The staff at the Burlington were very friendly throughout the stay. When we checked in it was all very quick and easy which is always good after a 500 mile drive. We also had our pet dog with us which was no problem for this hotel and they even left a water bowl out for him which is a nice touch. Rooms where of a very nice size for a 3 star. Maybe it was because we were in the end room but none the less we enjoyed the room.
The food in the restaurent was not that great. The steak was very oily which i did not like.

The family rooms were large and spacious as was the bathroom, ample space for 2 adults 2 kids sharing. Slightly more than basic bathroom and complimentary supplies which makes a nice change.
The two single beds pushed together could have been workable as a double for couples however the bedding supplied and made up on the beds were done as singles rather than double bedding even though they were pushed together, so a little pointless but the beds were comfortable nevertheless.

The staff were excellent and the room was possibly the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Although a little dated in decor they did not detract from an enjoyible stay
The decor was a little dated and the hotel could do with a bit of TLC

Rooms feature walk-in showers offering decent space, a breath of fresh air compared to cramped chains. The décor leans toward a modern flair, providing comfort for those preferring a contemporary look over traditional styles.
Limited parking availability around the hotel proved to be a hassle. I had to search a bit for a spot on the street. The breakfast service felt a bit disorganized. I had to track down cutlery for myself and wasn't sure about the beverage ordering process. The room temperature leaned toward the stuffy side, and while there was a fan provided, it felt more like a band-aid than a solution. A surprise £50 deposit for the stay seemed excessive and out of the ordinary, particularly for a place like this, which didn't offer complimentary basics like bottled water in the room.
